Installation Guide

Prepare a tape measure, level, pencil, fine-tooth saw, utility knife, safety glasses, work gloves, and a dust mask before starting.

If needed, lightly smooth rough cut edges with fine-grit sandpaper. Do not sand the finished surface.

Choose either screw installation or adhesive installation. Use suitable fixings for your wall type, or an adhesive compatible with both the PET felt backing and the installation surface.

Measure the installation area at several points, mark outlets and other obstacles, plan the starting position, and dry-fit the panels to check direction, spacing, and overall appearance.

Mark the cut line and support the panel securely. Cut the MDF slats with a fine-tooth saw and trim the PET felt with a utility knife. Dry-fit the cut panel before installation.

Use screws and wall plugs or anchors suitable for your wall construction.

Align the first panel with your reference line. Check that it is level and vertical before fixing

Drive screws through the PET felt between the slats to keep the fixing points concealed.

Use at least four screws per panel, adding more where required. Position the top and bottom screws approximately 50 mm from the panel edges.

Black screws are recommended for panels with black PET felt. Adhesive may also be used with screws for additional holding strength.

Ensure the wall is clean, dry, flat, and free from dust.

Apply a suitable high-tack panel adhesive to the PET felt backing in vertical beads or wave lines.

Align the first panel with the reference line, then press it firmly against the wall.

Install the remaining panels, checking alignment and slat spacing as you continue.

Use an adhesive compatible with both the PET felt backing and the installation surface. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s curing instructions.
